Election Day 2012: Are You Voting for Obama or Romney or Third Party?

Election Day 2012: Are You Voting for Obama or Romney or Third Party?

It’s estimated that when is all said and done $6 Billion will be spent on the presidential election in 2012. Many are very excited about the opportunity to vote as some see it has a chance to replace one administration with another. Others see it as a chance to reaffirm their confidence in the current administration. We all know that $6 Billion could have been spent improving the lives of Americans , but we rather invest it in our elected legislatures and task them to do it. Its already spent and no need to cry over spilled milk. But the election always makes me wonder if people value themselves as much as they value others who they believe have a interest in their lives. President Obama, and Mitt Romney are both claiming to be what America needs to move toward more prosperity for its people.People all claim doom and gloom if the opposite candidate wins but rarely do you hear people taking responsibility for their ups and downs and their future. Allow me to say this…YOU, yes    are far more influential and capable of improving your quality of life than ANYONE else on earth. YOU and only you…Are You a person who approaches life with a ‘I Will’ or I’ll Try’ attitude?

But, according to Yahoo News Business interests accounted for about 77 percent of all contributions, with ideological, labor and other interests accounting for the remainder.

In case you did not comprehend that, approximately $4.6 Billion of the $6 Billion invested in the election is from corporations. The bulk of the remaining 23% included special interests, oh and of course us the people. So, what’s the point? The presidential has less to do with YOU than you may think.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?

The outcome of the next 4 years in YOUR life is on YOUR shoulders. You can’t blame Obama, you can’t blame Romney and you certainly can’t blame Bush. Between the presidency and congress some bills will pass and some will fall flat. Some you will agree with and others you will disagree. But the only constant is you have to wake up each morning and figure out ways to produce revenue for you and your family. You have to pay your bills. You have to feed your family and yourself. You have to take care of those who mean the most to you…SO why are we placing our future in the hands of others?

Of course I know certain laws can inhibit or promote your ability to do those things…BUT…ultimately the buck stops with you. So are you going to use excuses or come up with solutions?

Are You a Victim of Circumstance in the 2012 Presidential Election?

Don’t be a victim of circumstance, then blame others for your shortcomings. Regardless of who wins today…victory will be determined by you and only you. So lay the foundation today, so when they ask are you better off four years from now you can shout. YES…but its has very little to do with the government and a lot more to do with me and what I’ve been able to accomplish to reach my goals.

We live in a day and time where excuses are plentiful and easy to embrace. It’s up to you to fight for you and don’t rest your prosperity on the shoulders of anyone else…especially a elected official who gets 77% of their influence from forces not directly effecting you. The choice is up to you, do you want to vote for the President and hope they improve your life or do you vote for the person with 100% vested interest in your prosperity…numero uno…YOU! I think the choice is simple!
GET OUT AND VOTE FOLKS…but don’t forget who is most important in the next for years. YOU!

Be GREAT at what you do today!
