Are You Afraid of a Challenge?

“The most glorious moments in your life are not the so-called days of success, but rather those days when out of dejection and despair you feel rise in you a challenge to life, and the promise of future accomplishments.” – Gustave Flaube

Do me a favor, go into the bathroom lock the door. Now look into the mirror and be completely honest with  yourself and ask, “Do I avoid challenges, or avoid them?” A lot of people may avoid challenges and not even realize it. Think about the last time you had a tough decision to make and you went in the direction with least resistance. Normally this attitude results in mediocre results. If you read about people who are considered exceptional in most eyes they normally react in the opposite direction. It’s scary to take a challenge knowing it’s going to be really tough to get your desired results.

Do me a HUGE favor, write down 20 goals, 5 you can do in the next 7 days, 5 you can do in the next month and 10 you can accomplish in the next year. These do not have to be monumental life changing goals. It could be something as simple as eat more vegetables, or something huge as start my own business. Whatever it may be DO IT, do it now. If you are waiting on time to present you with the perfect opportunity to seize your goals you may have a better chance of interviewing the Easter Bunny.

So now the stage is set and YOU  are the main character, the camera is rolling and its time for you to steal the show. The WORLD is yours so what are you waiting for? STOP being afraid, but instead be BRAVE and walk confidently into the darkest path with the most resistance. Be ready to fall, be ready to fail, but be committed to SUCCESS!

Be GREAT at what you do today!
