STOP planning and…DO IT!

“Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out precisely how we feel, stop deciding exactly what we want, and just see what happens.” – Sarah Jessica Parker

“Thinking of a Master Plan cause ain’t nothing but sweat inside my hand…” is one of my favorite lines from Rakim.  I reference the verse because of the parallel within it. He’s thinking of a master plan, because he has nothing. You can imagine its do or die time. He needs a Master plan because it has to be successful and change his circumstances so he has more than just sweat in his hand.

A lot of people has been in a situation that left them desperate for a “come up”.If you have been out of work, under-employed, self-employed and struggling, overweight, underweight, or worst homeless, struggling with health issues, or dealing with what seems like an onslaught of bad circumstances occurring back to back you too have had “nothing but sweat inside your hand”. As a life coach and motivational speaker I often emphasize the importance of a plan. BUT.. there are situations when waiting to develop a plan is more of a speed bump or a detour sign in the road to your success. Many successful businesses have been started by a person who simply had a WILL TO WIN. They did not think out how to get to their desired end point, they simply stepped out on faith and adjusted as necessary.

My question to you today is are you still planning? Are you pushing back the date to start making your dream your reality because your plan is not perfect? WELL today is the day I request that you stand up, strap the planning stage and jump directly to execution. You will more than likely make more mistakes, you will more than likely get frustrated and want to quit. But you will more importantly be that much closer to your goals.

SO STOP PLANNING AND START DOING…remember time waits for NO ONE!

Be GREAT at what you do today!
