Happy Valentine’s Day!

“When you have nothing left but love, then for the first time you become aware that love is enough.” – Unknown

Today’s Blog is an Update to a blog written on March 6, 2010. This blog is dedicated, to all the lovers on this corporate driven, falsified prove your love holiday. NO SARCASM  there but its true. So today millions of people in relationships feel pressure to prove their love, normally with chocolates, flowers, dinner, and maybe a gift. But, how often do you treat yourself with love. How often do you go out of your way to do something nice for yourself. Make tomorrow the day you treat your self like a valentine. Take some extra time for yourself, and think about all you have and should already be thankful for accomplishing, but then start focusing on what is next in your plan to become whatever you want to be. When you take care of yourself, you will find it easier to take care of others. So I’M DECLARING FEBRUARY 15TH, PERSONAL GOAL VALENTINE DAY…SPREAD THE WORD AND CELEBRATE!

so I ask, are you in Love? I’m not talking about being in love with your spouse. I’m talking about in love with your life. If you are not in love with your life, this blog is for you. First of all let me be the first to say, if you are waiting for your life to be  “perfect” to be in love with your life you have a better chance of walking on Pluto with no equipment, next Monday before work. The point is life will never be perfect, but that is no reason why you can’t be IN LOVE with your life. But in order to find happiness you may need to restructure your life. Find what makes you happy, and do it, not tomorrow, not next week…not when you save enough money. Start the ball rolling today…dont’ worry about the result, deal with the possible difficulties when they arrive.  GO GET YOUR DREAMS today….once you find what makes you happy, do it often and don’t let up. You must find your peace and happiness in order to Fall in Love with your life. Once you are in love with your life, share it with everyone….You must do this step. You can’t be happy and not share it, trust me it will make you love your life even more. And…you will help someone else fall in love or more in love with your life. So I ask Are You in Love with your life? If not then the second, not tomorrow, not next week and not later today go get your happiness and fall in love with your life now.

Be GREAT at what you do today.

  1. Does this mean we can eat 20+ wings tomorrow??? LOL. In all seriousness, though, I really like this idea. It’s true that people often put themselves and their needs on the backburner because of responsibilities to other people and things. It’s important to love yourself… if you don’t love yourself, who else will?

  2. I’m loving the spin on Valentine’s Day. I totally had to explain the whole loving yourself and acheiving goals to one of my students today. He looked at me like I was crazy, but he understood the point. I also appreciate the message today because it serves as inspiration to continue working towards my goals. Goo Graduate school applications and the five million other things I am working toward. Thanks for the words Clinton.
